Founder of Enhanced Thoughts and certified New York state educator, Saleemah Madyun, was disheartened by the striking differences she experienced teaching in neighborhoods of various socio-economic realities over the last fourteen years. In her previous position at a public charter school in Brooklyn, where many of the Black and Latino students come from low-income to working class families, she was inspired to launch a STEM program to engage students outside of the classroom and supplement the lack of academic resources in their schools.

Saleemah received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Coastal Carolina University (2005) and her Master of Arts in Teaching from Brooklyn College (2013). In addition to her work in adolescence education, she serves as an adjunct professor within the City University of New York (CUNY) system, where she mentors aspiring educators and helps shape inclusive curricula aimed at empowering the next generation of scholars.
